Jim Cramer Says You Shouldn’t Borrow To Buy Bitcoin

The issue of borrowing money to invest in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin has become commonplace in the crypto space.

There has been a lot of news regarding individuals who borrowed money to buy cryptocurrencies and ended up with huge debt that they were unable to pay due to the drop in the price of digital assets.

Jim Cramer, a well-known figure in the investment field, has issued a warning against this practice.

The Mad Money host offered a series of tips for investors in an interview with CNBC.

Cramer warns about the dangers of borrowing money to buy crypto. He is not against borrowing but explains that borrowing should be done for the right things.

Mad Money points out that cryptocurrency is not a sure bet. First, Cramer says, “admit that it is a speculative asset.”

For every portfolio, he says that 5% should be put in gold and the remaining 5% in crypto.

Cramer further recommends that investors stick with the biggest coins on the market like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
